Jacob Pierce

Jacob Pierce is CEO of The Avatar Effect, an engineer, and an entrepreneur.

He is President and Founder of Vortex Computation LLC, a contract firm based in Florida and Texas. Vortex's practice spans electrical systems engineering, custom software, web and app integrations, circuit design, R&D prototyping, product lifecycle management, emerging-tech education, and corporate negotiation.

Alongside Vortex, he holds three concurrent roles. At CACI International Inc. (post-acquisition of Azure Summit Technology), he is a Systems Electrical Engineer designing server architectures and system configurations. At Space Ocean Corp, he is a part-time Satellite Scientist, defining satellite specifications and designing components for communications, navigation, and interstellar mission systems — patent pending. At The Avatar Effect, he serves as Reverse Engineer and Chief 4-Dimensional Geo-Array Architect.

Earlier in his career, he worked on rocket systems test design as an Associate Electrical Engineer at Northrop Grumman; developed hybrid drivetrains for semi-trucks at Revolt Motors using EPLAN; optimized renewable energy systems at Stargate Manor; led rapid prototyping for medical and beverage devices at TXRX Labs, with a patent pending; engineered haptic suit improvements for military pilots with NSIN and GXM; and did hardware and software repair at All Phone Toys & Repair.

Outside of work, Jacob founded Jacobs Associated, a professional brotherhood. As a 4th Degree Knight of the Knights of Columbus, he coordinates outreach, strategy, and charitable operations including disaster relief and Special Olympics. He provides technical support to the Catholic Business Alliance.

His family comes first.
