Amos Elroy
Director of Research
Amos Elroy is Director of Research at The Avatar Effect. While most are content to build tools, he endeavors to map uncharted territories. A technologist forged at the dawn of the internet, he spent his formative career consulting for infrastructure titans AT&T and IBM, architecting systems at a foundational moment when global computing was still being defined. With dual master's degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from NJIT and Rutgers, he possesses a rare, 360-degree view of the silicon landscape—having witnessed the Web's first revolution, navigated the mobile transition, and now positioned at the convergence of two transformative frontiers: Artificial Intelligence and Extended Reality.
That vantage point informs his current mission. He is pursuing the ultimate frontier: the responsible realization of Artificial Super Intelligence and the expansion of human experience through interconnected, immersive computing. Rather than extrapolate from existing paradigms, he is synthesizing intuitive trend-casting with the rigorous discipline of an AI Scientist—currently pursuing formal certification through the American AI Institute. His approach is neither purely theoretical nor merely pragmatic; it is architecturally ambitious. He is not predicting the future of human-computer interaction—he is designing the immersive, intelligent landscapes where that future will unfold.
For him, technology is not a utility or a competitive advantage. It is a vessel. It is the medium through which humanity will undertake its next great migration—a transition toward augmented cognition, extended presence, and interconnected experience. His work is driven by a conviction that the next chapter of human potential will be written not by those who follow existing maps, but by those who have the foresight to chart entirely new terrain.
